Kathleen Hooper

The story

A soulful invitation to feel

A musical mixture of mantra, prayer, celebration, and honesty – an offering, a bow of appreciation for all that is.

Kathleen Hooper's music is a soulful invitation – a mixture of mantra, prayer, celebration, and honesty that opens the heart and stirs something deeper. A songbird since her earliest memories, Kathleen writes from the full range of human experience, digging into beauty and grief alike, and inviting listeners into her own path as she walks it. Rooted in her connection to nature, her music feels less like performance and more like an offering.

Kathleen found her way into the Denver music scene in 2010, singing with the a cappella group the Idiosingcrasies at the University of Denver. Years of musical theater and a cappella work shaped her voice before she began performing with small bands around the city. Her bright, clear vocals and dynamic range have since captivated audiences well beyond Colorado.

As a solo artist, Kathleen has lent her voice to collaborations with Random Rab, Zach Heckendorf, El Javi, and Scott Nice – pairing powerful, lyrically-driven songwriting with ethereal harmonies and each collaborator's own distinct sound. A Ceremonial Musician, Kathleen supports circles and groups in ceremonial spaces - her voice a bridge between worlds.
